2011 Arizona Screenplay Challenge

Submissions are now being accepted for the 2011 competition.


The Phoenix Film Festival has been named one of The 25 Coolest Film Festivals by MovieMaker Magazine and has been called the most filmmaker-friendly festival out there. The Festival annually screens over 100 films, holds amazing parties and provides filmmaking seminars to capacity audiences. Over 22,000 attendees enjoy the 8 day festival that takes place all in one convenient location.

The Prizes

First Place: $500 Cash, Script read by Leading Hollywood Management & Development Companies,  a prize pack and listing on Phoenix Film Festival websites, two VIP Passes to the 2011 Phoenix Film Festival (accommodation and air fare not included).

Second Place: Script read by Leading Hollywood Management & Development Companies, a prize pack, listing on Phoenix Film Festival websites, two VIP Passes to the 2011 Phoenix Film Festival (accommodations and air fare not included).

Third Place: Script read by Leading Hollywood Management & Development Companies, listing on the Phoenix Film Festival website, a VIP Pass to the 2011 Phoenix Film Festival (accommodations and air fare not included).

Ten Finalists: Ten Finalists to be posted on the Phoenix Film Festival website with contact information for producers to request copies of their scripts
